If you think that the 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital in Uijeongbu, South Korea, during the bloody Korean War is an unlikely setting for a situation comedy, you haven't seen the iconic series M*A*S*H. Featuring an ensemble cast (including Alan Alda, Loretta Swit, William Christopher, and Jamie Farr), this classic dark comedy/drama series follows medical personnel in the United States Army, their trials and tribulations, and their attempts to make their own fun. Despite the dark setting, the series is full of laughs as the characters make the best of difficult situations. The final episode of M*A*S*H made television history as the most-watched television broadcast ever.
